Governance Structure

The Orchid Society of Assam is governed by two principal committees: the Core Committee and the Executive Committee.

The Core Committee

The Core Committee serves as an advisory body comprising the founding members of the Society. It provides guidance, advice, and support to the Executive Committee in making important decisions and ensuring the overall development and effective functioning of the Society.

The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is responsible for the day-to-day administration and execution of the activities and programmes of the Society. It consists of the President, Secretary, Treasurer, and other designated members. The Executive Committee implements the decisions and programmes of the Society with the guidance and support of the Core Committee.
